Sarah Palin dropped the puck at a recent Flyers-Rangers game and the Flyers are now winless in three games since then. She has "Jessica Simpsoned-a-team" that was previously thought of as one of the best in the Atlantic Division this year.
But the Palin Curse does not stop there, since the St. Louis Blues also invited her to drop the luck, I amean the puck. As Stu Hackel observes, "Ho-hum, another N.H.L. team owned by a contributor to the G.O.P. presidential campaign invites that party’s V.P. candidate to drop the puck for tonight’s game." That was before the game. Turns out, the Blues did not escape the curse - their goalie slipped on Palin's blue welcome carpet causing an injury which took him out of the game. In the end, the team lost.
